About Rollina
Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Rollina Oglesbay planted her roots in the south over 30 years ago and her tree is firmly established with four sons and daughter-in-laws and eight grandchildren.
Rollina has won awards for her portraits in charcoals, oils, and pastels. She has been teaching painting and drawing for over 25 years and taught at the Birmingham Museum of Art, University of Alabama in Birmingham Special Studies, Jefferson State, Forstall Art Center, Alabama Art Supply, Artist's on the Bluff, and Sylacaugha Museum of art. She is a member of Pen Women (National League of American Professional Women in the Arts), and a member and past president of Mountain Brook Art Association, Vestavia Hills Art Association, Shelby-Hoover Art Association, and a member of the Alabama Pastel Society.
